Vintage Club

The “Vintage Club” is We Fight for Food kinship’s slow leveling group. The aim of the group is to revisit the amazing world LOTRO offers and complete all the challenges the game poses (fellowship areas, instances and raids) on level and on all tiers, just like the days when the content was fresh.

Given that the game has progressed to Mordor and beyond, it is reasonable that both the leveling and the older content have become easier. In order to replicate the starting experience as closely to the original game as possible, the participants of the group have to abide to specific rules:

  1. The participants will have to use an exp disabler (Stone of the Turtoise from the LOTRO store, costs 100 LP)
  2. All characters should be at or below the prespecified level. No help from higher levels is allowed for completing content (quests & instances).
  3. The participating characters will have to be members of the kinship. This is vital for the group’s organization and communication.
  4. A player can have multiple characters participating to the club and they can switch characters however they please, as long as they stay within the prearranged level cap.
  5. Players can play their characters whenever they want, even solo, but they are not allowed to exceed the prespecified level cap.
  6. When it comes to gear, the players can use their high level crafters for crafting gear for the participating toons and it is the only help one can get from a high level. No essence gear is allowed, only drops/craft/quest/lootbox/hobbit present gear. Bartered gear is allowed as long as the tokens used are gained solely by the participating character.
  7. The participating characters should add the surname “Vintage” by visiting a Notary NPC at lvl 15. They should also add the word Vintage at their kinship note.
